I just received the following email from Apple (Conversion farts when you shake it – hence the word is in the search keywords):
“We’ve reviewed Conversion 2.2 and determined that we cannot post this version of your iPhone application to the App Store at this time because of inappropriate ‘Keywords’ used to identify your application. [...]
I just sent the final piece of copy to the publisher, and my book is now complete and should be off to the printers next week.

The Acuvue eyeSuite app I wrote was recently mentioned in a Sydney Morning Herald article on local iPhone application development.
Not much time to blog lately – things have been fairly hectic the last few weeks.
I’ve finally left my job and gone Indie in an attempt to concentrate on Mac/iPhone development FT – we’ll see how long my mortgage agrees with this new working arrangement

Update It’s available now.
After many requests, I finally got around to adding currency conversions this morning.
Currency data is downloaded from Yahoo! each time you start the app, and is available for 48 currencies.
The update should be available in a couple of days once Apple have approved it.

I’ve just received this followup email from Apple:
“We received your application named Face Dial Pro, which appears to include features that resemble Polariod photographs. Polaroid has previously objected to other applications that include features that resemble Polaroid photographs, and believes that such Polaroid features infringe its rights.”

Is it just me, or does the new iPhoto “Faces” feature look *very* similar to the Face Dial UI:
